Summer Update Pastors, I hope each of you has gotten some time to rest this summer and been blessed with good family time as we head into the second half of this year. I have received a number of encouraging messages from many of you about how your partnerships are deepening with one another, two of which I wanted to share. Last week, Pastors Jason Spencer and Nic Pope partnered together to connect with residents at the Sequoia Courts apartment complex in Pastor Jason’s neighborhood, and in the months of July and August Pastors Ed Coleman and Joe White have brought their congregations together each Sunday. These are clear examples of the witness God is cultivating within His body through Vision 22. Thank you for your leadership Pastors! |
If you have a Vision 22 partner, I encourage you to reach out to them as we approach this Back to School season. If you don’t have a Vision 22 partner, what a great time to reach out to someone! If you need help let me, Artie Padilla, or Andrew Feil know. |

SAVE THE DATE
I just sent you a calendar invitation for our next Vision 22 Leadership Gathering on August 27th from 12pm-1:30pm. At this gathering we will introduce you to the Vision 22 podcast series we have created to compliment the Vision 22 curriculum, share metric updates for your neighborhoods, and hear more updates on the fruit of our partnerships. We will provide more details as this date draws nearer. As always, pastors that are new to Vision 22 are welcome! Friends, I pray for each of you every day, that God would give you the desires of your heart concerning your congregations and our city. Thank you for continuing to journey together. God has a plan for Fresno. It’s a good plan. And the Church is poised to embody this plan now more than ever. |
